Frequently asked questions

How does the 48 hours of decision follow-through support work?

Follow-through support gives you a way to ask focused questions, clarify a next step, or share a key development without losing momentum once the session ends. Depending on what unfolds for you next, we can use this time to:

  • Get clarity on new concerns that arise as you begin implementing your next steps
  • Work through new information that affects your decision
  • Interpret the outcome of an important conversation or action
  • Determine how to respond and what move to make next
  • Help you maintain momentum rather than getting pulled back into uncertainty

The support adapts to what your particular challenge requires. You may send brief questions by WhatsApp or email related to the challenge we discussed. I’ll provide concise guidance to support your decision follow-through so you maintain momentum.

How is this different from a typical one-off coaching session?

Talking through a challenge with a coach can be helpful, but the true value comes from knowing what to do with what you uncover. The Intensive is designed to move you from a situation that feels tangled or uncertain toward greater clarity, a stronger direction, and focused next steps you can put into action.

What kinds of challenges are best suited for an Intensive?

The Intensive works best when you have one specific, meaningful challenge that would benefit from an experienced outside perspective and focused strategic thinking.

This might include preparing for a high-stakes conversation, evaluating an important decision, navigating competing priorities, working through a product or business challenge, or determining how to move forward at a leadership or career inflection point.

If you are navigating several interconnected challenges or want ongoing support as your situation evolves, the four-month Forward Flow program may be a better fit.

A focused engagement for an important next move

Business Strategy Intensive

A tangled line on the left unravelling into a smooth wavy line that ends in an arrow pointing up and to the right

You’re deciding what comes next for your business or offering, and several paths look possible. Before committing time, money, or your team’s effort, you want a clearer view of where to focus and why.

Drawing on nearly 20 years of product strategy and company-building experience, I’ll help you uncover what’s driving the situation, challenge assumptions, and weigh your options against your business goals. You’ll leave with clearer direction, explicit tradeoffs, and practical next steps.

Your intensive includes

  • Focused preparation: I review your context and selected materials before we meet.
  • A 90-minute private working session: We untangle the challenge and develop a practical way forward.
  • A written summary: Capture the key insights, decisions, and next steps.
  • One week of email follow-through: Get guidance as you take initial action and questions emerge around the challenge we addressed.

Bring one pressing business challenge. Leave with a clearer next move and support to begin.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of business challenges work best for this intensive?

A good fit when you’re:

  • Choosing which customer segment, market, or opportunity to pursue
  • Rethinking an offering that isn’t gaining the traction you expected
  • Deciding where to invest limited product, technology, or team resources
  • Navigating a turning point with several possible paths forward
How does the one week of email follow-through work?

Strategic clarity often develops further once you begin taking action. For the week following our session, you can send focused questions by email about the challenge we addressed and receive concise guidance as you take your first steps and new questions emerge.

What preparation is required before we meet?

Before the session, I review your context and selected materials. That preparation is what lets us spend the full 90 minutes untangling the challenge and developing a practical way forward, rather than catching up on background.

How does this differ from ongoing advisory?

An intensive is a focused engagement for one immediate challenge or decision. If you want ongoing counsel as decisions continue to unfold afterward, Momentum Advisory may be a natural next step.

See the opportunity first

Consulting

A diagram of three interlocking circles labeled earth, product, and market, with fit in the center where they meet

PRODUCT-MARKET-EARTH FIT™ Consulting is a focused session designed to help you see the opportunity first: where your business has room to innovate responsibly and find a better balance between growth and environmental impact.

We’ll explore how your product or business can better serve customers, strengthen its competitive position, and turn environmental considerations into opportunities for innovation and more resilient growth.

Using the E-A-R-T-H framework, we’ll conduct an end-to-end opportunity analysis of your product or business. Together, we’ll assess where you are today, identify opportunities to create greater customer and business value with less environmental impact, and surface climate-related risks or emissions-reporting requirements before they become operational or compliance challenges.

In this session, we’ll explore

  • Where your product or business currently stands, evaluated through the E-A-R-T-H framework
  • Opportunities to better serve customers while innovating more responsibly
  • Areas where environmental considerations could create competitive advantage or support more resilient growth
  • Potential environmental or climate-related considerations that may affect your product strategy, operations, or expansion plans
  • Questions for your team to consider and concrete next steps you can begin acting on immediately

Best for: Founders, product leaders, and operators looking to find real business opportunity in sustainability — particularly useful if you're in a climate-adjacent industry or expanding into markets where environmental standards already apply.

Frequently asked questions

What is the E-A-R-T-H framework?

The E-A-R-T-H framework is the lens I use to conduct an end-to-end opportunity analysis of your product or business. Together we assess where you are today, identify where environmental considerations can create greater customer and business value, and surface climate-related risks or reporting requirements before they become operational or compliance challenges.

What specific topics do we cover during the session?
  • Where your product or business currently stands, evaluated through the E-A-R-T-H framework
  • Opportunities to better serve customers while innovating more responsibly
  • Areas where environmental considerations could create competitive advantage or support more resilient growth
  • Potential environmental or climate-related considerations that may affect your product strategy, operations, or expansion plans
  • Questions for your team to consider and concrete next steps you can begin acting on immediately
Do we need existing carbon accounting or sustainability data to benefit?

No. The session meets you where you are, whether you are exploring where sustainability could differentiate your business or preparing for new customer expectations and standards in the markets you serve.

What do we walk away with?

Questions for your team to consider and concrete next steps you can begin acting on immediately, along with a clearer view of the opportunities, risks, and environmental considerations in front of your business.
